About

My name is Zachary Jarjoura, and I'm a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park. I am passionate about the world, the environment, and about finding ways to improve the local community. I have a firm foundation in sustainability, geographical theory, as well as practical experience in GIS.

Currently, I am a researcher at Empowerly College Counseling, where I address questions from clients and research new opportunities in high education. Previously, I interned at the American Association for Geographers and Anne Arundel County's Department of IT, where I oversaw several projects in a team environment and grasped the fundamentals of ArcGIS Pro.

 

Outside of my work, I strive to be as well rounded as possible. In my leisure, I love to explore, volunteer in my community, play my instrument, meet someone new!
